Maclaren Corlett LLP Lawyers Once Again Recognized by Best Lawyers® in Canada

Best Lawyers® in Canada 2020 recognizes Gordon B. Greenwood and Mary G. Griffith as leading practitioners in the areas of Advertising and Marketing Law.

Mary G. Griffith continues her long-standing recognition in the field of Advertising and Marketing Law.  She was first recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada in 2006.  Mary heads up Maclaren Corlett’s Toronto office regulatory, advertising and marketing law practice.  Her practice covers all product types, including drugs (over-the-counter, prescription, natural health products), food, cosmetics and medical devices.  She also acts as a consultant to Advertising Standards Canada.

Since 2018, Best Lawyers in Canada has recognized Gordon B. Greenwood, managing partner, for his work in Advertising and Marketing Law.  His inclusion in the 2020 edition makes him one of just four lawyers recognized in Ottawa in this field. His practice focuses on business law within Canada and internationally.  It is divided between Regulatory Law (as it relates to advertising and marketing, cosmetics, food and drug and intellectual property law) and Corporate/Commercial Law.

Best Lawyers is published annually.  It is the oldest and most respected peer review publication in the legal profession.  Selections are determined after thorough evaluation of peer feedback gathered through an extensive survey process.  Both clients and legal professionals regard recognition in Best Lawyers as a significant honour, conferred upon a lawyer by his or her peers.

Congratulations to Gordon and Mary.
